Terms and Conditions

2018 West Coast Eagles Membership

Membership of the West Coast Eagles Football Club may be purchased by application in the prescribed manner, currently through completion of a paper form, online through the West Coast Eagles Football Club’s website, by telephone to the Membership Services Centre or by renewal of an existing membership.

By purchasing a West Coast Eagles membership, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.

1. Perth Stadium Transition

2.  Purchase of Membership

If you are successful in your membership application, the West Coast Eagles Football Club will issue a payment confirmation electronically, within five business days. Best efforts will be made to ensure membership cards and fulfilment packages are issued by February 28, 2018 (subject to the application date).  Access members who join during the season will receive a membership card (or match entry ticket) prior to the next match.

The West Coast Eagles Football Club reserves the right not to accept any membership application in its absolute discretion.

3. Term of membership

Subject to the following terms and conditions, your West Coast Eagles Football Club membership will entitle you to the benefits of club membership from receipt of your membership payment to October 31, 2018.

4. Membership Categories
 

4.1 Club Membership Categories and Entitlements

4.1.1 Reserved Seat Membership Categories

Reserved seat memberships include the following reserved seat categories :  A Reserve, B Reserve, C Reserve, D Reserve, E Reserve, Blue & Gold Terrace, and Club 87.

Reserved seat memberships entitle the holder to a reserved seat for eleven (11) West Coast Eagles 2018 Toyota Premiership Season home matches at Perth Stadium. Entitlements may be viewed here and may vary from season to season, at the discretion of the club.

The West Coast Eagles Football Club reserves the right to move any reserved seat member to another seat, to satisfy a club requirement, without prior consent from that member.

Should a home match be cancelled, for whatever reason, the club is not liable for any refund or compensation to members for the cancellation of said match.

There is no guarantee of undercover seating or protection from the elements in any seat at Perth Stadium. Full, unrestricted viewing of the game and arena is not guaranteed in any category of seating. Seats may be classified as Restricted Viewing at the discretion of the club where, in the opinion of the club, a significant amount of match play is obstructed from view on an ongoing basis.

VenuesLive, as operator of Perth Stadium, hires the facilities at Perth Stadium to Indian Pacific Ltd. (trading as West Coast Eagles Football Club) for the specified number of AFL home matches as prescribed by the AFL fixtures on an annual basis. The club has the right to market and sell facilities as determined by VenuesLive. Stadium seating is made available to the club to offer a renewal arrangement to members on a year-by-year basis for West Coast Eagles home matches only. Reserved seat members do not hold any rights to access their seat for any other event or match apart from the club’s 11 home matches of the 2018 Toyota Premiership Season, as specified by the club.

4.1.2 General Admission Membership Categories

General admission memberships entitle the holder to entry into designated, unreserved general admission seating areas of Perth Stadium for a specified number of West Coast Eagles 2018 Toyota Premiership Season home matches at Perth Stadium (subject to capacity at any given match).

Additional fees and charges may apply to general admission memberships. Members’ access to matches is not guaranteed. Access is subject to capacity and the club recommends that members reserve a seat in order to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand matches. Access may be gained to designated, unreserved seating on a first-come, first served basis, subject to availability, and members may upgrade to a reserved seat at the venue for an additional fee, subject to availability. Ticket agencies may charge a booking fee, which is to be paid by the member.

Home Flexi: Entitles the holder to entry and general admission seating for up to three (3) or five (5) West Coast Eagles 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season matches at Perth Stadium of their choice. Home Flexi members have access to limited unreserved seating available in sections at Perth Stadium, as nominated by the club, mostly in the upper tier on the western end. This seating is subject to capacity. Reserved seat upgrades may be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster, subject to availability and additional fees and charges will apply. The club may, at its discretion, specify certain matches as ‘fully-reserved’ in anticipation of high demand (eg WCE v FFC). In these instances, all Home Flexi members who wish to attend that match must upgrade to a reserved seat in advance through Ticketmaster, subject to availability and additional fees and charges will apply. 4.1.3 Interstate Membership Categories

4.2 Membership Classifications and Concessions

4.2.1 Family

Family memberships are available for some Reserved Seat and Victorian memberships, including combinations of up to two adults and up to three juniors (under the age of 15 as at January 1, 2018).

4.2.2 Junior

To be eligible for a junior membership, the applicant must be 5 years of age or older and under the age of 15 as at January 1, 2018. Juniors aged under 5 years of age at January 1, 2018, are entitled to attend matches without a club membership; however, they must not occupy a seat.

4.2.3 Student

Student concession is available to members studying full-time in 2018. The membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a copy of your 2018 student card or a photocopy of a stamped, receipted 2018 enrolment form from your educational institution.

4.2.4 Pensioner

Pensioner concession is available to members holding a 2018 pensioner concession card issued by Centrelink, the Department of Health and Community Services, the Department of Community Services or the Department of Veteran Affairs. A Heath Care or Health Benefit card will not be accepted. Membership application/renewal forms must be accompanied by a photocopy of your pension card. Pension cards must be valid for the duration of the 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

4.3 Toyota AFL Finals Series Entitlements

Each member’s access to purchase tickets to 2018 Toyota AFL Finals Series matches will be determined by the member’s membership category and corresponding entitlements. Please refer to the terms of each particular category for further detail. The club will communicate information relating to members’ access to purchase tickets to Toyota AFL Finals Series matches in late August, should the club be participating in the 2018 Toyota AFL Finals Series.

5. Payment

Payment terms are strictly in accordance with the payment schedule stipulated on the renewal invoice.

Application for membership or renewal confirms agreement to pay accounts in full within the listed payment terms. Intention to renew must be provided to the club prior to the closing date specified on the renewal invoice. If full payment is not received within the agreed payment terms, your membership will be forfeited. Membership cards/ground entry tickets will not be activated if payment terms are not met.

If you are experiencing difficulty in making payment within the agreed terms, you must contact the club to discuss alternative payment options, prior to the closing date specified.

All payments are non-refundable. If your account is referred to debt collection services, you agree to pay any fees, charges, disbursements and commissions relating to collection of the debt, in addition to the membership payment.

6. GST and Levies

Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST and any applicable venue levy.

7. Refund policy

The West Coast Eagles Football Club is under no obligation to refund payments relating to a membership, either in full or in part, unless required by law. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit, restrict or exclude rights available to you under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Cancellation policy

The West Coast Eagles Football Club reserves the right to cancel any membership at the club’s discretion.

9. Transfer policy

All memberships are non-transferable unless they meet the conditions specified by the West Coast Eagles Football Club. For more information, please click here.

10. No On-selling

West Coast Eagles memberships, tickets, membership benefits and match day tickets may not, without prior written authorisation of the West Coast Eagles Football Club, be sold at a premium, exchanged for goods and services or be used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions). If a West Coast Eagles membership, ticket, membership benefit or match day ticket is sold in breach of these conditions, it will be void and will not entitle the holder to admission to the event. Further penalties may apply (including cancellation of offending club member’s club membership without refund of any part of the membership payment).

11. Code of conduct

All members must abide by the West Coast Eagles code of conduct.

Upon becoming a member of the West Coast Eagles, you agree that you will abide by all conditions of membership, including the code of conduct relating to behaviour while in attendance at Perth Stadium or when interacting with the West Coast Eagles Football Club in any capacity. You remain responsible for the conduct of anyone utilising your membership benefits to attend matches. In the event that you provide others with access to your membership(s), any unacceptable conduct by them may have a negative impact on your membership benefits, in addition to penalties applied by the venue.

12. Privacy

All personal information that you provide will be used, and may be disclosed, by the West Coast Eagles Football Club (including for promotional and marketing purposes) and the AFL in accordance with the AFL and AFL Club Privacy Policy, which is available atwww.westcoasteagles.com.au/privacy. By providing your personal information, you agree to such use and disclosure by the West Coast Eagles Football Club and the AFL and confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by the AFL and AFL Club Privacy Policy.

13. Telephone and Internet Renewals

Members may renew their club membership over the telephone or online. By renewing over the telephone or online, you accept these terms and conditions of club membership.

The West Coast Eagles Football Club reserves the right to amend, from time to time, the terms and conditions of club membership, without written notice. Members will have no claim against the club by reason of any change made to the terms and conditions of club membership.

Eagle Easy T&Cs

EAGLE EASY PLAN - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Eagle Easy Upfront

1. The West Coast Eagles will deduct from the member’s nominated Visa or Mastercard account one single payment of the full amount of the member’s membership cost for the next following season. 
2. Members using Eagle Easy Upfront will have their Visa or Mastercard account debited in November of each year for the following  season’s membership cost, unless the member opts out of the payment method. 
3. Members can opt out of Eagle Easy Upfront at any time by providing notice in writing at least 7 days prior to the scheduled deduction (including email) to the West Coast Eagles Membership Department, but must finalise any outstanding payments prior to doing so.
4. Members will be provided a minimum of 14 days’ notice in writing (usually by email) of the payment amount that will be deducted from their credit card for the following season’s membership, and any changes to Eagle Easy terms and conditions.
5. By selecting Eagle Easy Upfront, the member authorises the West Coast Eagles Football Club to debit the nominated credit card in the amount advised.
6. If full payment is not received prior to the first home and away game of season 2017, the applicable membership will not be renewed and the West Coast Eagles reserves the right to re-allocate the seats.
7. All ground entry tickets will not be issued until payment has been received in full.
8. If any payment fails to complete, or the card is declined or rejected for any reason, further attempts will be made during the following ten working days to contact the member and/or otherwise attempt to successfully finalise payment.
9. The West Coast Eagles Football Club does not accept Amex or Diners cards.
10. Eagle Easy Upfront deductions will be processed on November 3, 2016 for the 2017 season. For all members without a Victorian or Interstate product in their account and then all remaining accounts will be processed on December 1, 2016.

Eagle Easy TwoPart

1. The West Coast Eagles will deduct from the member’s nominated Visa or Mastercard account two (2) equal payment instalments, each for 50% of the full amount of the member’s membership cost for the next following season.
2. Members using Eagle Easy TwoPart will have their Visa or Mastercard account debited in November and February of each year for the following season’s membership cost, unless the member opts out of the payment method. 
3. Members who choose Eagle Easy TwoPart as their payment option after the date of the first scheduled instalment deduction (November 3, 2016) will have their first payment deducted within two days of signing up as a member, to bring them in line with the payment schedule.
4. Members can opt out of Eagle Easy TwoPart at any time by providing notice in writing at least 7 days prior to the scheduled deduction to the West Coast Eagles Membership Department (including email), but must finalise any outstanding payments prior to doing so.
5. Members will be provided a minimum of 14 days’ notice in writing (usually by email) of the payment amount that will be deducted from their credit card for the following season’s membership, and any changes to the Easy Eagle terms and conditions.
6. By selecting the Eagle Easy TwoPart, the member authorises the West Coast Eagles Football Club to debit the nominated credit card in amounts and at intervals as advised, and agrees to finalise all payments prior to the first home and away match of the applicable season.
7. If full payment is not received prior to the first home and away game of season 2017, the applicable membership will not be renewed and the West Coast Eagles reserve the right to re-allocate the seats.
8. All ground entry tickets will not be issued until payment has been received in full.
9. If any payment fails to complete, or the card is declined or rejected for any reason, further attempts will be made during the following ten working days to contact the member and/or otherwise attempt to successfully finalise payment.
10. The West Coast Eagles Football Club does not accept Amex or Diners cards.

Refund Policy

Once a membership has been purchased, the West Coast Eagles Football Club is under no obligation to refund payments relating to that membership. Requests for refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of the West Coast Eagles Football Club.

Beyond the Border T&Cs

2017 Beyond the Border memberships

Victorian Gold and Victorian Platinum

Access to matches is not guaranteed. Access is subject to capacity, and members are encouraged to reserve a seat in order to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand matches. Members will be required to pay additional fees and charges when reserving a seat. Access may be gained to unreserved seating on a first-come, first served basis, subject to availability and members can upgrade to a reserved seat at the venue for an additional fee subject to availability.

Victorian Platinum, Victorian Gold and Interstate memberships cannot be used to gain access to matches played at Simonds Stadium. The Victorian Gold package is based on the number of matches in Melbourne (MCG and Etihad Stadium). The decision to exclude Simonds Stadium from the Victorian Gold membership package was based on significant feedback received indicating that members were less likely to attend this match due to travel and difficulty in upgrading to a reserved seat through the ticketing agent. 

Please note that the ANZAC Day match between Collingwood and Essendon is not available as an optional  non-West Coast game to Victorian Platinum members.

The West Coast Eagles Football Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary vary the terms and conditions of West Coast Eagles Football Club Memberships. The West Coast Eagles Football Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the club website. Members will have no claim against the West Coast Eagles Football Club by reason of any change made to its membership terms and conditions.

Interstate Memberships

For matches played outside of Melbourne, Interstate members will be required to book their tickets through the club’s website or via the club’s Melbourne office, within the specified timeframe. Detailed instruction of the booking process will be emailed to members in early 2017. Access to matches is not guaranteed and is subject to capacity.  Interstate members can access their Melbourne match entitlements by scanning their barcode at up to two (2) West Coast Eagles matches in Melbourne. Total match entitlement, including matches outside of Melbourne, is three (3) games. For terms and conditions around Melbourne match entry and use, please refer to the terms and conditions above.

 

Seat Return T&Cs

Terms and Conditions

2017 Seat Return Program 

1. By returning your seat through the Seat Return Program, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of the below Terms and Conditions of the program.

2. Seats may be returned using one of the following methods:​

2.1 Online, by logging in to your Account Manager with your membership number and password. This can be done at any time, up until two hours prior to bounce down, or,

2.2 By contacting the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566 during business hours only (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm).

3. Seats cannot be returned by emailing the West Coast Eagles membership inbox.

4. Once you return your seat, it cannot be retrieved for use for that match.

5. Return credits are awarded only if the returned seat is successfully on-sold by Ticketmaster. There is no guarantee that a returned seat will be on-sold.

6. Credit earned on seats successfully returned may only be redeemed on the following season's membership renewal and is not transferable.

7. Seat return credits are not refundable and not redeemable for cash.

8. Within one (1) week of each West Coast Eagles home match at Domain Stadium, you will be advised by the club via email if your seat has been successful in selling. If you do not have a valid email listed with the West Coast Eagles, you will be required to contact the club to request this information.

9. All seat return tickets must be purchased through nominated Ticketmaster outlets or ticketmaster.com.au. Tickets sold or purchased through any other forum are not eligible for seat return credit.

10. In The Wings, In The Wings Plus, Eagles Nest, Eagles Rising Stars, Rookie Eagles members will have access to a seven (7) day priority period to purchase tickets available through the Seat Return Program. Any remaining tickets will be made available to the general public for purchase from 9am WST on the Monday immediately prior to the match.

11. Total seat return credits will be calculated at the completion of the home and away season and automatically credited to membership accounts; the total credit amount will appear on the following year’s membership renewal invoice.

12. 2017 Seat Return credit prices will be released in January 2017.

13. The West Coast Eagles decision on issuance of seat return credits will be final and cannot be contested.

14. The West Coast Eagles reserves the right to change any of the above terms and conditions throughout the season without written notice, please refer to the website (westcoasteagles.com.au).

 

Member Choice T&Cs

Terms and Conditions

2017 Member Choice Item

1. The following membership packages are entitled to a Member Choice item in 2017: Season members, Victorian Platinum, Victorian Gold, and Interstate members (please note: Captain's Club members will have a pre-selected commemorative item mailed to them).

2. All member choice items are subject to availability, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Upon renewal of a Season membership for the 2017 season, eligible members will be contacted by the club to make their member choice product selection. Eligible members will be reminded should they not respond to the initial prompt. Should an eligible member fail to make their choice by the nominated cut-off date (November 11, 2016), then the club will automatically assign them an item, subject to availability. 

4. Eligible members must renew their membershp by the nominated cut-off date listed on their invoice to be eligible for the member choice item as one of their membership entitlements.
